Side panel: with frame partitions, full-height, 3 or 5 cm thick.
Top panel: 5 cm thick.
Bed base and Mattresses
Bed base: safety system that prevents the murphy bed from accidentally opening, Dark Grey finish. Max. bed load: 150 kg.
Mattress: 90x200 / 120x200 / 140x200 h.18/20 cm (max. thickness). Max. weight: 17 kg (single bed) / 27 kg (large single bed) / 32 kg (French double bed). Models selection:
- Premium: h.20 pocket sprung mattress with 11x30 cm springs (single bed) Ø 0,2 cm, Box system with 700 individual pocket springs (double bed) and 7-zoned support system. Internal felt 700 g/sq m, 2 cm D 25 polyurethane foam per side. Winter side with 1 cm memory foam WE 45 density, summer side with 1 cm Watercel 30 E density. Edge supports 25 E density. Amicor removable hypoallergenic cover. This mattress is not suitable for vertical murphy beds with upholstered headboard.
- Elite: pocket sprung mattress with 11x30 cm springs (single bed) Ø 0,2 cm, Box system with 700 individual pocket springs (double bed) and 7-zoned support system. Internal felt 700 g/sq m. Winter side with 1 cm Watercel 30 E density. Edge supports 25 E density. Ecotton hypoallergenic and dust mite-proof padding, Amicor removable hypoallergenic cover, Cotton Plus non-removable cover with aerators.
Optionals
LED lighting: recessed, w.28 cm, supplied with switch and 5W / 12V power supply, placed on the right side panel.
Pair of pistons lift mechanism covers: optional for Nikai 90 / 120, as a standard for Nikai 140.
Adjustable headboard for lower bed with fabric cover (for 90 / 140 cm bed base).
Sofa bench: freestanding, it requires removing the seat cushions before pulling down the mattress. Available with soft foam seating cushion (w.199 d.60,8 h.42 cm, seat height 22 cm) or firm foam seating cushions (w.199 d.60,8 h.50 cm, seat height 30 cm), to be completed with a pair of back cushions (w.199 h.50 cm). Removable fabric or faux-leather cover.
Nikai Sincro: murphy bed with integrated sofa (211,2 cm). The opening mechanism is manually operated through a handle that lowers the upholstered backrest anchored to the front, dragging the seat and the bed down. While opening, the sofa backrest and seats slide inwards at the same time, allowing the bed base to be placed at the same level as the seat.
Front panel handles
C25: 18 cm, fixing centres 16 cm. Burnished metal or lacquered in the colours of the Swatches Library (metallic hues included), matching colours for structure melamine.
C28: 22 cm, fixing centres 19,2 cm. Aluminium finish metal.
C29: 22 x 2,5 cm, fixing centres 19,2 cm. Burnished metal or lacquered in the colours of the Swatches Library (metallic hues included), matching colours for structure melamine.
Assembly
The murphy bed is disassembled and comes with assembly instructions. Wall fixation with supplied brackets is required. Anchoring on plasterboard walls doesn't guarantee tightness.
